President of the United States of
America Barack Obama has arrived in Trinidad and Tobago some 20 minutes
ahead of schedule. Mr. Obama, who was in Mexico on official
business just yesterday, came down the staircase of Air
Force One in a spritely manner and with a smile on his face,
spending just a few moments on the tarmac to exchange greetings with
the Minister of Foreign Affairs Paula Gopee- Scoon and other Government
officials.
Many locals had gathered at Piarco
International in hope of catching a glimpse of the first
African-American President of the United States of the America and were
not let down as Mr. Obama took a minute or two to wave to the anxious
onlookers.
The world leader, currently dubbed as the most
important person in the world, is currently en route to the Hyatt
Regency in the official vehicle of the US President, nick-named "the
Beast".
