World Leaders touch down at Piarco International Airport

Belize Prime Minister Dean Barrow arrives in T&T.
Eight
of the 34 world leaders carded to attend the Fifth Summit of the
Americas at the Hyatt Regency in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago
today have arrived at the Piarco International Airport in anticipation
of the Summit’s opening ceremony at 5:00 pm local time.
The
Heads of State of Belize, Brazil, Grenada, St Vincent, St Lucia, St
Kitts and Nevis, Suriname and Columbia starting arrived half hour ago
and were greeted by Trinidad and Tobago’s Minister of Health Dr.Amery
Browne and other top ranking officials.
United
States President Barack Obama is expected to arrive on Air Force One in
approximately half hour and will be taken to the Hyatt in the official
US limousine, “the beast”.
